The villas at Ideales Resort vary in size, but thanks to the very large spaces, they can receive comfortably couples, families or large groups of friends. Our little friends are always welcome and enjoy their vacation at Ideales Resort (we remind you that children should be supervised by an adult at all times and especially around or in the pool). Ideales Resort is very close to Mousata village and also at 2km there is also Vlachata village. The villas are only 12 km from the cosmopolitan Argostoli, the Capital of Kefalonia. Kefalonia airport is only 10,4 km away. Poros port is at 28 km from Ideales Resort and Sami port is 28,1 km. Please check for detailed driving instructions on www.IdealesResort.gr/eng/contact.

At a very close distance you will find everything you need to make your stay even more enjoyable, like Trapezaki beach and Lourdas beach, traditional grocery store at 500m, tennis court and basketball court at 2km, stores and super market at 7km.  Medical centre and banks are at 13 km and the bus stop at 1km.

There are many beaches near Ideales Resort. The wonderful sandy beach of Trapezaki is only a few hundred meters away. At a very close distance there are numerous unique beaches with crystal clear turquoise waters, sandy or pebble beaches worth visiting, such as the Lourdas sandy beach with café and restaurants, southeast of Ideales Resort at 2km.  A few kilometres away, at 6km southwest, there is Avithos beach with the unique red sand and Ai Helis beach with its shallow waters, suitable for families with small children. At 7km southwest of Ideales Resort you will find Ammes beach with fine white sand. At 3.7 km from Argostoli (13 km from Ideales Resort) at Lassi area, there is the cosmopolitan Makris Gialos beach with the famous turquoise waters and also the wonderful Platis Gialos beach.

We will be happy to arrange for your transfer from and to Kefalonia airport or from and to any port of Kefalonia (Poros, Sami, Argostoli) with no extra charge for our service. The cost for the transfer is paid directly to the taxi driver. Please contact us at least 2 days before your arrival or departure. The cost per taxi for up to 4 people and per destination amounts to :

Kefalonia is quite a big island with a good road network. We recommend you to have a car or motorbike (yours or rented) for your transportation, so as to see the most of the amazing Kefalonia.

Of course. One day per week we organize tours in the lush inland of the amazing island of Kefalonia. The tour includes a visit to the unique cave Drogorati and in the impressive lake Melisani in traditional Asos village, the cosmopolitan Fiskardo, St. Gerasimos, the harbor of St. Euphemia etc.

For our Guest’s safety, our hotel has fire extinguishers on each floor of every villa. In the main entrance of each villa there are sensor lights. IdealesResort has CCTV only on the main entrances of the Resort, not out or in your villa.

Of course, there is a First Aid Kit with basic items in the last drawer in the kitchen of each villa.

As part of our green household, we change bed linen, towels and pool towels once per week, for a better tomorrow ... TODAY ! For all of us, our environment is what is most important. In our best efforts to protect it, since the foundation of Ideales Resort (2005), we have adopted policies of environmental responsibility. We kindly ask you to participate in our efforts to reduce unnecessary laundry services and the consequent environmental impact (water waste, detergent and energy).

We offer pool maintenance and garden service 3 times a week. In case the pool gets dirty with dust due to strong wind, we will clean it for you at no extra cost.

At no extra cost we will provide you with a baby cot with all bed linen and towels and highchair according to our availability. Ideales Resort possesses 7 baby cots and 5 highchairs. We provide free of charge complimentary wireless internet connection (Wi-Fi) in each one of the 12 villas of Ideales Resort. You will find the Wireless Internet Code in your villa.

Yes, in order to keep the high level of our villas all guests are kindly requested to pay with cash upon arrival a 300€ refundable security deposit per villa against possible damage/breakages. The security deposit is returned to the guest at the end of the stay as long as there have been no damages or breakages that go beyond ordinary wear and tear of the rental property upon villa inspection during check out.

No. Ideales Resort is a 100% Non-Smoking Establishment since our foundation in 2005. We kindly request that you refrain from smoking whilst in the villas. Please feel free to smoke outdoors.

No. Pets are not allowed in or out of the villas. For reasons of hygiene, cleanliness and to avoid possible allergies of our Guests, pets are not allowed in or out of the villas of Ideales Resort.

All electrical appliances (except from the fridge) have power supply only when putting the card (attached to the villa key) in the special slot next to the main entrance of the villa. Upon leaving the villa all devices are turned off so as to save energy.

All appliances are chosen according to their Energy rating. All windows in the villas are double glazed for insulation reducing the consumption of cooling and heating. 

For lighting we only use LED light bulbs which are recycled after their use. At the main entrance of each villa there are motion detector lights. The air-conditioning system operates only when the main door and all the windows are closed.

In all villas there are water pressure reducers and dual flush cisterns in all bathrooms.

Our eco pool® (Piscines Ideales - the eco pool®) conforms to all hygiene and safety rules and regulations.   Our advanced systems and ecological products, which have replaced the technologies of the past, allow you to enjoy the pool, saving useful resources (i.e. water and energy).

The gardens of Ideales Resort have plants that are very resistant to weather conditions and thrive in the region of Kefalonia. They need little watering and provide natural shadow out of the villas. This rich planting in the large area of Ideales Resortwith plants and trees that are in harmony with the natural landscape has also upgraded the surrounding area. Moreover, there is no lawn that requires huge amounts of water for its maintenance.

The rich gardens Ideales Resortwith a variety of Greek vegetables herbs and fruits are maintained only by biological methods without any harmful chemicals for nature and people.

We urge our Guests to recycle the waste by using the specially placed bin in the kitchen for paper, glass, metal and plastic.  All waste generated by Ideales Resort is sorted to ensure much of what is thrown away is recycled. All light bulbs and batteries are also recycled. 
We use compost bins for organic waste. We also collect plastic lids and the purpose of this collective effort is not only to recycle and protect the planet, but also to offer to fellow human beings. 

To protect the environment and our guest’s health, we use only ecological cleaning products and detergents and their packaging is always recycled.

In Ideales Resort we have a commitment to respecting children's rights and a commitment to the protection of children from all forms of exploitation. We protect their rights and also protect them from any kind of abuse. At Ideales Resort we give our utmost importance to children’s wellbeing and therefore any kind of behaviour or action that can harm them physically or emotionally is not acceptable and can be addressed to the local authorities.
